Aegina is an island of about 85 square
kilometres. The island's resident
population is about 14,000. Fortunately
the island has escaped the ravages of
mass 'package' tourism and visitors are
charmed by its authentic 'Greekness'.

The island offers something for everyone
including important archaelogical sites
and a museum, shopping, great tavernas,
good beaches, beautiful scenery and
walks.

It is an excellent destination for visitors
wanting a relaxing, quiet holiday which
can be combined with visits to Athens,
the Peloponnese and other islands such
as Agistri, Hydra, Poros and Spetses.
